OF TESTICULAR CANCER

Testicular cancer is a disease that mainly affects men between the ages of 20 and 34, according to figures from the American Cancer Society. However, this type of cancer can occur at any stage of life, from babies to the elderly.

For this reason, it is essential to know what is normal in your testicles and to perform a self-exam.

Here are some suggestions for performing the self-examination correctly:

Look for any inflammation. Pull the penis aside and examine the skin of the scrotum.

Examine each testicle. With both hands, place your index and middle fingers underneath the testicle and your thumbs on top.

Gently slide the testicle between your thumbs and fingers. Look and feel for any changes in the testicle. This could include hard lumps, softly rounded lumps, or new changes in size, shape, or consistency.

Does underwear affect intimate health?

Of course it does, since it is the clothing that accompanies us daily and is in direct contact with the intimate area. That is why it is important to talk about the benefits of good underwear:

Try to use underwear made of cotton or microfiber (2214) (GG29L8), as they are breathable materials that allow quick-drying, do not accumulate sweat, are soft and comfortable to the touch, and prevent infections.

Choose the ideal silhouette according to your needs (GG13B1) (GG01D4) (GG01L6). Geordi offers a wide variety of silhouettes with many benefits, from hip briefs, boxers, thongs, and jockstraps.

We suggest trying and having different silhouettes, as they will serve you for different activities in your routine, depending on the weather, sports you practice, or just sleeping.

Keep in mind the importance of changing your underwear daily.

Don't forget to wash it and keep it in a cool place.

Remember the importance of wearing proper underwear and consulting a specialist if you find a lump or other changes during testicular self-examination. Time is crucial to rule out any pathology.
